That's right,now you can be a "Real" citizen journalist for wired.com

Wired.com announced that starting today,In partnership with Jay Rosen's NewAssignment.Net, they are launching a novel experiment in the new, new journalism: Assignment Zero.

In this two to three month experiment, contributors will be given the chance to do the work of a reporter, writer, researcher or editor in a joint investigation by Wired and NewAssignment.Net.

At the Conclusion of the project,Wired magazine contributing editor Jeff Howe will write a feature-length article that will run on Wired News.

The site was built on open-source collaboration software Drupal and the code has been freely licensed under GNU General Public License. All of the work product will be licensed under a Creative Commons copyright.

Upon visiting the site Assignment Zero.we found that over 800 cub reporters have signed up .... pretty good for the first day.So maybe a few of you should jump over there and show them how it is done or not done....
