Description: Taunton Carnival, Autumn 1997: Each year after the harvest, Devon and Somerset in the south west of the UK host a cycle of illuminated night-time carnivals. Floats range from the individual, to monster displays built around decorated tractors and trailors powered by massive generators. There is intense competition between the various carnival clubs.
