Code of conduct

At Ourmedia, we respect free speech. At the same time, no reasonable discourse can occur if personal attacks replace civilized discourse. Ourmedia is a community — only members may publish or comment — and we want every member to feel comfortable and welcome here.

So please exercise restraint, civility and courtesy toward others.

Report violations

Ourmedia's team of volunteer moderators has the authority delete media and comments, to suspend members, or to terminate any account that violates these guidelines.

We need your help in flagging abusive behavior. If you see any activity that may violate our Site rules, please let us know by filling out our Contact form or Deletion request form.

Unacceptable language

Please don’t post material that is obscene, illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, untrue, or invasive of someone else’s privacy.

Screen names

Choose a screen name and blog name that is in good taste. Young people belong to Ourmedia, so please pick a name that is not vulgar or obscene or that misrepresents you to other users. We have the right to reject an improper screen name.

Copyrights

Please don't post material that you don't have the right to publish or violate any copyright or other proprietary rights in your posts.

Advertising and solicitations

Ourmedia’s community area is not the place for advertising, promotional materials, spam or other solicitations that have little relation to citizen media.
